Satine is an exhibition space opened in 2025 in the Sestiere of San Marco, on Calle dei Avvocati, a few steps from Campo Sant'Angelo.

Directed by Silvia Cipriani and Camilla Pagliano, it presents itself as a place of work and research dedicated to contemporary artistic practices, with a declared focus on female voices.

From 27 September to 13 December 2025 the space hosted "Full-handed", a solo exhibition by Armineh Negahdari, accompanied by a critical text by Sofia Silva.

Negahdari lives and works in Bordeaux. Trained in painting at the University of Art and Architecture in Tehran and then at the École Supérieure d'Art in Clermont-Ferrand, she has exhibited at, among other venues, the Palais de Tokyo in Paris, and her works are held in the collections of the Centre Pompidou, the S.M.A.K. in Ghent and the MAMC+ in Saint-Étienne.

The core of the exhibition was drawing, practised with the most elementary materials: charcoal, graphite, oil pastel, often on fragments of paper.

From these minimal surfaces emerged a dense and deliberately impure repertoire portraits, memories, fantastical figures traversed by Persian archetypes: almonds and stars, flowers, amulets of Sasanian descent, hieratic eyes recalling royal effigies.

Her ecstatic dolls and puppets coexist with sheets treated like mineral skins, geological crusts evoking the mountains of Iran.

Drawing is understood here not as representation but as trace the residue of a friction between body and matter, where the mark preserves the memory of the combustion from which charcoal and graphite derive.

The title, "Full-handed", conveys the idea of a generous, instinctive practice that accumulates rather than selects.
