G.D S.p.A. is a Bologna-based company founded in 1923, today among the world leaders in the design and manufacture of automatic packaging machines and the parent company of the Coesia group.

Its headquarters occupy an industrial area on the western outskirts of Bologna, developed over time into a true corporate campus.

The relationship between G.D and the Rome-based studio Labics dates back to 2006, when the studio won the invited competition for the redevelopment of the adjacent former ENEL site.

That competition gave rise to MAST, a multifunctional building bringing together a company nursery, a restaurant, a gym, an auditorium, a training centre and exhibition spaces open to the city.

The new G.D S.p.A. offices represent a further chapter in this collaboration.
